Compliance Policies
Our Insurance cover with Royal Sun Alliance requires all of our members to have the relevant HSE poilicies in place. As a Karate Association we provide support and free advice on how to best implement these guidelines. We can put you in touch with our Policy Advisors should you have concerns or questions. The following policies must be implemented by every Karate establishment in order to comply with Society HSE Standards:
• Risk Assessment Policy.
• Emergency Procedure.
• First Aid Process.
• Child Protection Policy.
• Karate Instructor(s) must have appropriate cover.
• Dojo/Club must have appropriate cover.
• Register all weapons and apparatuses used during weekly practice.
• Minimum Age for Children is 5, we recommend 6+.
• Appropriate Registration and Documentation of Students & Staff.
• Appropriate management of finances.
• Appropriate Data Protection.
