Welcome to Karate Society

This Society is a fellowship dedicated to the Classical Culture of Karate-Dô. Our goal is to uphold the traditions of Karate and encourage like-minded individuals or groups to support our initiative. We endeavour to provide an outlook to Karate that is a true reflection of our practice today.

This forum has been setup to provide direction in Standards, Governance in Karate Training Programmes and Gradings; a credible service for Karate Dojo's which includes relevant member to member public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance for instructors.

The Society is a fellowship for Dedicated Traditional Karate Practitioners. This fellowship is unique whereby, for the first time a group has been setup that facilitates the needs of Traditional Karate.

Our membership is hierarchical therefore, allowing the individual or group to choose how they would like to take part in the fellowship. We endeavour to provide a service that is indicative of its culture and ethos.

Karate Society is a flat organisation where there is no formal control; the forum is an enabling process that allows Karate-ka’s to have access to open facilities. The Society was setup by a Fellowship of Traditional Practitioners.
